Top 5 topics that you can write about (Chapter#4): Where to choose topics & why should write original

Welcome once again, First I want you to know that we already discussed in 3 parts that-
  1. How to write
  2. Parts of writing
  3. Top most topics which will give you some lead for content reading.

This is the second last part of this series in which we will be talking about the problem that if you want to choose a topic or idea for writing then where you will find one. First of all this depends on what type of writing you are leaning towards. I observe that in general, people want to write 2 things only-

  1. You want to write a book
  2. You want to write online content

Where to find ideas while writing a book?

First of all, as people say that to write a good book or to be a good writer, you have to be imaginary and intelligent as you will have to generate your ideas, please tell those people that it is a myth!! Yes, that’s true. No idea or creation comes suddenly to your mind, an event, surrounding & sometimes your inner motivation helps you find the eye of the tiger so that you see the same things around you, like others, But at the same time you get ability to relate those things with a story and sometimes from those heaps of events, people & things, you derive your own authentic idea. See these remarkable examples-
1. In June of 2003, suburban Arizona mother Stephenie Meyer woke up from an intense dream in which two young lovers were lying together in a meadow, discussing why their love could never work. On her website, Meyers says, “One of these people was just your average girl. The other person was fantastically beautiful, sparkly, and a vampire. They were discussing the difficulties inherent in the facts that A) they were falling in love with each other while B) the vampire was particularly attracted to the scent of her blood, and was having a difficult time restraining himself from killing her immediately.”
This dream turned out to be the very basis of what would become one of the most popular series in Young Adult fiction of all time. To date, Meyer’s novel has sold 17 million copies worldwide, spent over 91 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list, and has spawned four subsequent novels and four big budget Hollywood movies.

2. In 1816, Mary Shelley was just eighteen years old when she spent the summer with her lover (and future husband) Percy Shelley, at Lord Byron’s estate in Switzerland. One night, as they sat around the fire, the conversation turned to the subject of reanimating human bodies using electrical currents. Shelley went to bed that night with images of corpses coming back to life swirling through her head; as she slept, she clearly saw Frankenstein’s monster and imagined the circumstances under which he had been created.
Shelley woke up and began to write a short story about her dream. Later that year her husband, also a writer, encouraged her to expand her story into a full-length novel. She complied & the great literary masterpiece 'Frankenstein' was published when Shelley was just nineteen. Incidentally, Lord Byron was also inspired by their fireside chat; his resulting work, Vampyre, is considered to be the predecessor of all romantic vampire-human love stories.

So now you might understand that for a better idea all you need is to have an eye to see things accurately and the probable reasons behind thempresence of mind to observe things around you and a captivating way to express your thinking.

These 3 things make you not only a good writer, but also a good leader, thinker, observer and much more things that you can think of. See, it is as easy as it sounds, you want an idea, pick one from around you.

Where to find ideas while writing online content?

Now you think it is a lucrative job and everyone says that all you have to do is to read an article and frame it in your own words, again! It is a myth!! If you want to be a content writer who writes an article for a few bucks & pennies then you can make easy copy, paste, but stop right there!! Think, is it worth that you spend your valuable time in rewriting the article which is owned by another person, Technically, it is edited or re-framing and you can use this method as learning, but if you want to be a good content writer whose glory reach to the people and big guns out there then you have to be organic (Original). Stop re-framing articles and try to write something cool on your own. Ideas can be same, but writing couldn’t be, because everyone has different opinions about the same topic. There are several places where you can get your ideas as-Twitter’s trending topic list.

  • Google’s most searched list.
  • Various blogs provide this information as for example techcrunch & wikihow.
  • Top twitter trends give you information and new ideas.

That’s not it! You can generate your own ideas too if you are looking at something which makes you think a lot. As an example: you think that your security is getting weaker day by day on internet so you start to dig up the reasons and remedies of compromising security and other threats, now you not only have an idea but a whole reason to share your experience and opinions.
Believe me when I am saying this to you that when you speak your mind, your write up make a long lasting impression on the reader's mind which couldn’t be accomplished by reforming another article because it is already used by many other writers and now readers know the nature of this writing and they don’t want to waste their time in reading it.
You can steal all the ideas, but generate your own views which reflect your true in-depth knowledge.
Next time don’t think that you can’t write, just get an idea and start with sheer enthusiasm & don’t forget to share your experience with Story Sitters.

Have an ideal day!
