Top 5 topics that you can write about (Chapter#4): Where to choose topics & why should write original

Welcome once again, First I want you to know that we already discussed in 3 parts that-
  1. How to write
  2. Parts of writing
  3. Top most topics which will give you some lead for content reading.

This is the second last part of this series in which we will be talking about the problem that if you want to choose a topic or idea for writing then where you will find one. First of all this depends on what type of writing you are leaning towards. I observe that in general, people want to write 2 things only-

  1. You want to write a book
  2. You want to write online content

Where to find ideas while writing a book?

First of all, as people say that to write a good book or to be a good writer, you have to be imaginary and intelligent as you will have to generate your ideas, please tell those people that it is a myth!! Yes, that’s true. No idea or creation comes suddenly to your mind, an event, surrounding & sometimes your inner motivation helps you find the eye of the tiger so that you see the same things around you, like others, But at the same time you get ability to relate those things with a story and sometimes from those heaps of events, people & things, you derive your own authentic idea. See these remarkable examples-
1. In June of 2003, suburban Arizona mother Stephenie Meyer woke up from an intense dream in which two young lovers were lying together in a meadow, discussing why their love could never work. On her website, Meyers says, “One of these people was just your average girl. The other person was fantastically beautiful, sparkly, and a vampire. They were discussing the difficulties inherent in the facts that A) they were falling in love with each other while B) the vampire was particularly attracted to the scent of her blood, and was having a difficult time restraining himself from killing her immediately.”
This dream turned out to be the very basis of what would become one of the most popular series in Young Adult fiction of all time. To date, Meyer’s novel has sold 17 million copies worldwide, spent over 91 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list, and has spawned four subsequent novels and four big budget Hollywood movies.

2. In 1816, Mary Shelley was just eighteen years old when she spent the summer with her lover (and future husband) Percy Shelley, at Lord Byron’s estate in Switzerland. One night, as they sat around the fire, the conversation turned to the subject of reanimating human bodies using electrical currents. Shelley went to bed that night with images of corpses coming back to life swirling through her head; as she slept, she clearly saw Frankenstein’s monster and imagined the circumstances under which he had been created.
Shelley woke up and began to write a short story about her dream. Later that year her husband, also a writer, encouraged her to expand her story into a full-length novel. She complied & the great literary masterpiece 'Frankenstein' was published when Shelley was just nineteen. Incidentally, Lord Byron was also inspired by their fireside chat; his resulting work, Vampyre, is considered to be the predecessor of all romantic vampire-human love stories.

So now you might understand that for a better idea all you need is to have an eye to see things accurately and the probable reasons behind thempresence of mind to observe things around you and a captivating way to express your thinking.

These 3 things make you not only a good writer, but also a good leader, thinker, observer and much more things that you can think of. See, it is as easy as it sounds, you want an idea, pick one from around you.

Where to find ideas while writing online content?

Now you think it is a lucrative job and everyone says that all you have to do is to read an article and frame it in your own words, again! It is a myth!! If you want to be a content writer who writes an article for a few bucks & pennies then you can make easy copy, paste, but stop right there!! Think, is it worth that you spend your valuable time in rewriting the article which is owned by another person, Technically, it is edited or re-framing and you can use this method as learning, but if you want to be a good content writer whose glory reach to the people and big guns out there then you have to be organic (Original). Stop re-framing articles and try to write something cool on your own. Ideas can be same, but writing couldn’t be, because everyone has different opinions about the same topic. There are several places where you can get your ideas as-Twitter’s trending topic list.

  • Google’s most searched list.
  • Various blogs provide this information as for example techcrunch & wikihow.
  • Top twitter trends give you information and new ideas.

That’s not it! You can generate your own ideas too if you are looking at something which makes you think a lot. As an example: you think that your security is getting weaker day by day on internet so you start to dig up the reasons and remedies of compromising security and other threats, now you not only have an idea but a whole reason to share your experience and opinions.
Believe me when I am saying this to you that when you speak your mind, your write up make a long lasting impression on the reader's mind which couldn’t be accomplished by reforming another article because it is already used by many other writers and now readers know the nature of this writing and they don’t want to waste their time in reading it.
You can steal all the ideas, but generate your own views which reflect your true in-depth knowledge.
Next time don’t think that you can’t write, just get an idea and start with sheer enthusiasm & don’t forget to share your experience with Story Sitters.

Have an ideal day!

Top 5 Topics You can Write about(Chapter#3):Topmost Topics You can Write about

Hello again! It’s been a long time while I am writing or sharing anything about literature, well, sometimes regular life things don’t give much time for that, anyway it’s time for the next chapter. To our readers, I remind you that in the previous 2 parts we shared that how many writing styles are there. Now we it is time to talk about some writing that will help you to earn money. You are thinking it right, we are now about to talk of modern writing style- Content Writing. Basically, we talked about this, but today I will tell you the topics that are in trend and those topics will help you in getting higher ranks. Before we talk about a brief list of trending topics, let’s discuss about the reason of choosing the topic.

Why should I care about the topic?
Have you ever played a role in theater or watched a theatrical act? A movie, season or an act only gets successful when the story associated conveys a strong message and for a good story, you have to select a good topic. Another reason is “First impression is the last impression” your topic is the face of your content that convey the impression that’s why the topic should be catchy. A topic is good only with 2 conditions-

  1. It is trending & evergreen.
  2. It is current or very different and you are the first one to talk about it.

What topic you should consider while you are starting for blogging content?
Besides all the points we discussed during part-1 about strategies related to choosing topic, I am providing a short list of 10 most searched topics that will give you an insight before you start your content writing career. The topics mentioned in the list are chosen on behalf of searching behavior of viewers specifically. Here are the top 7 searched topics that you should write about-

1.Sports- All updates related to different games, cups, world cups and ongoing or upcoming matches falls into the category of this topic. You can choose any famous game according to your knowledge so that you can express your opinions and prefix ideas to your viewers.

For beginners, ICC World cup 2015 is a hot topic to write about this time.

2.Technology- News updates on upcoming and ongoing trends are usual, but what people searching for is the operating methods as- “How to reboot the android?”, “How to send one message to everyone in the contact list at once by iOS?” etc.

If you have a good knowledge and interest in technology then you can help people by content writing and your knowledge.

3.News- News is not very much different than telling updates of a specific area on your blog. The news contains either social media news updates or news updates on political & economical issues. This category, somewhat contains neck to neck competition. If you are a journalist or looking for a career in journalism, then this type of writing could be your best helper in achieving your goals. I met a couple of journalists who’re just chosen by news media companies on behalf of the popularity of their blogs which they had written before they get started in journalism.
Many famous editors and journalists maintain their blogs with good content, even after amid of the career.

4.Health- In my opinion, this is the best category for someone who admits “Health is wealth”. I penchant this category very much. The reason is simple, no one has time to keep themselves indulge in healthy activities on a regular basis, but everyone wants to.Thus, they need to consult about healthy activities and who is better than a health blog which provides authentic information about body functions, problems and remedies.

In previous years, doctor consultation via the internet is also increased. For example: Mayo clinic has its own website which provides information and also interact with people about their problems. Similarly, Harvard Health has its own blog and social presence on the internet.

You can tell your readers about Yoga, gym exercises, good habits, symptoms & methods to treat and prevent various problems such as acne, fatigue etc.

5.General studies- You are too good in studies and sometime you want to help everyone with what you know then start a blog/website related to general science, awareness or topics that people search when all books & notes of the world leave them in the lurch. You can also see it as online coaching, tuition or training. That helps a lot as we all know that today info on the internet is the vast and fast source of learning.

6.Movies & Music-Update everything about movies, new songs and upcoming series. This is like the publicity for banners and if your blog is getting more and more reader, then there is a good chance of getting a high valued sponsor for your content writing stage.

7.Game tricks, entertainment or others- Provide cheat codes or write something funny about events are kind of fun. Picture stories are seriously getting faster on track these days as – “Scoopwhoop”,  “Storypick” etc. If you are a serious content writer then maybe you won’t support this type of category because it has many technical flaws that even modern content writing doesn't support this style and category, also the reason of the fame is the money spent on the promotion. Here the content is not the central idea, but the psychology of readers and viewers are the focusing point. Here you can’t certain much about success if you are not willing to spend some amount, not to mention about Google’s support, Google doesn't support visual content as much as the written content. So this category is a tricky one.

These are the main highlights related to categories and topics that you should concentrate on while you are thinking about area of content writing. One thing that is similar in all these categories, is that you need to have in-depth knowledge about the topic you are going to choose because you have to write it on for next 6 months & at least twice a day if you want favorable results.
